Jaylen Brown Injured in Collision with Teammate

Celtics Star Suffers Facial Fracture

Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown has been diagnosed with a broken bone in his face after colliding with teammate Jayson Tatum during Wednesday night's game against the Toronto Raptors. The injury occurred in the second half when Tatum's elbow caught Brown in the face. Brown immediately left the game and did not return.

Celtics Unclear on Extent of Injury

The Celtics have not yet released a timetable for Brown's return, but they are not expecting him to miss a significant amount of time. Brad Stevens, the team's head coach, said, "He's a tough kid, and he's already talking about wanting to get back out there."

Brown is averaging 22.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game this season and is one of the Celtics' most important players. His absence will be a blow to the team, which is currently in the middle of a playoff race.

The Celtics will play their next game on Friday night against the Brooklyn Nets. It is unclear if Brown will be available for that game.
