Warriors Rebound with Game 2 Win Over Celtics in NBA Finals
Celtics Take 2-0 Series Lead
Warriors Dominate Third Quarter Again
The Golden State Warriors bounced back from a disappointing Game 1 loss to defeat the Boston Celtics 107-88 in Game 2 of the 2022 NBA Finals on Sunday night. The Celtics had won Game 1 by a score of 120-108, but the Warriors made some key adjustments and were able to take control of the game in the third quarter, which they won 33-18.
Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 29 points, while Klay Thompson added 25 points. Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 28 points, but he shot just 9-of-25 from the field. Jaylen Brown added 22 points for the Celtics.
The Warriors will host Game 3 of the series on Wednesday night. The Celtics will need to find a way to slow down Curry and Thompson if they want to avoid falling down 3-0 in the series.
